Bride Mallon Biog
Bride’s research interests include (i) phenomenological games-research methodologies, (ii) multimedia evaluation, (iii) new-media narrative structures, and (iv) user engagement during game-play. She is particularly interested in investigating the relationships between narrative and computer games.
She holds a BA in English Literature and Mathematics, a PGDip in Computer Science, an MSc in Computing and Design, a PhD in the area of narrative games evaluation and a Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education Teaching (PGCHET). Within DkIT, she lectures in E-Learning, Games & Society, Designing for Cultural Diversity and Research Methods.
She is an affiliate of the International Simulation and Gaming Association (ISAGA).
