Research Interests
Currently working on a Ph.D. on Irish language current affairs programmes on RTÉ Television.
Film studies; Irish cinema and media: Community media & broadcasting; Irish language media; Media representations & reporting; music and film; popular culture & the media; Identity & culture.

Research supervision
Final-year practical projects for students on the B.A. (Level 7/Level 8) in Video & Film Production as well as dissertations on the B.A. (Hons) in Humanities. Supervision of a postgraduate student who produced a practice-based research M.A. dissertation that resulted in a Video documentary investigating the connection between conflict and art, and drew comparisons between art from Ireland and the Basque country.

Dublin Weekend Radio (DCU Community of interest station) & DCU FM: student volunteer.
