Kenneth Sloane Biog
Kenneth Sloane is a graduate of the Institute of Communications Studies at the University of Leeds. His academic interests include areas as diverse as interactive multimedia systems, international relations and film history, theory and criticism. Kenneth is particularly interested in the relationship between the mass media and society. Within DkIT Kenneth lectures on the BA(Hons) in Film & Video Production and BA(Hons) in Communications (Creative Media) with a particular focus on modules related to interactive multimedia development and media and social theory.
Kenneth also enjoys a subsidiary interest in sports science having worked as a football notation analyst in the School of Sport and Exercise Sciences at Liverpool’s John Moores University. He has also served on the board of directors of League of Ireland soccer club Dundalk F.C.
