The Creative Media Research Group is comprised of staff and post-graduate students from the Film and Creative Media sectors. Staff are involved in the teaching, creation of, and research into creative media at Dundalk Institute of Technology (DKIT) and specialise in digital media, one sector of a diverse range of Creative Industries. The creative media industries span a number of diverse sectors which have their origin in individual creativity, skill and talent.

Staff come from interdisciplinary backgrounds, combined in DkIT to offer a rich digital media educational experience enhanced by the different perspectives and training. Staff share common research interests in a number of core thematic areas.
